I was waiting for the bus to work and noticed some nice light coming through the trees filtering on some small yellow flowers and took a few, the first one was taken with metering set to my default and camera default - multi-pattern metering but that's not what the flower looked like so I changed to spot metering which I use for sunsets and other scenes when it required and you can see in the second photo the filtered light hitting the flower very close to how it actually looked, whole scene is a little under exposed though. Both shots are straight from camera
